Friends in Washington
Make friends in Washington.
Washington turns over constantly, with people arriving for jobs, fellowships, and postings. The Washington pool is open for anyone who wants a crew that is not about work.
WeVenture is forming crews in Toronto first. In Washington, sign-ups go into a local pool, and a crew forms once enough people nearby want the same thing and fit the same week. You can also choose an online crew in the meantime.

Ideas for a Washington crew
What a crew in Washington could do.
Your crew forms around one shared interest and votes on the actual plans. Here is where a few of them could start.
Hiking
Walk the trails in Rock Creek Park without leaving the city.
Cycling
Ride the Capital Crescent Trail or the Mount Vernon Trail along the Potomac.
Creative nights
Make the Smithsonian museums a rotating evening plan.
Places named here are public spots a crew might choose. WeVenture is not affiliated with them.
Close to home
Washington neighborhoods a crew could meet in.
Crews form around people who live close enough to meet every week, so where you live matters as much as what you love.
