Privacy should make real community safer.
This policy explains how weventure, operated by Next Aura Labs Inc., handles information when forming and supporting small recurring groups.
What we collect
We collect founding-cohort website entries such as name, email, city, interest, referral source, and consent time; account identifiers from Sign in with Apple; the profile photo you choose; the name, adult confirmation, interest, purpose, experience, needs, strengths, interaction preferences, city, availability, and format you submit; group membership, scheduling, RSVP, attendance, and shared commitments; device tokens and notification delivery records; private reflections and preparation notes; and support, safety, block, and account-deletion requests.
How matching and planning use AI
With your explicit consent, weventure sends the application answers needed to understand shared intent, needs, offers, experience, and interaction style to OpenAI for structured interpretation. You give that consent before the first of those answers is read: when you save the opening part of an application, weventure reads only your description of what you have been spending time on, so it can identify the pursuit and show you how many real people near you are waiting for something compatible. If you never finish the application, that saved part and everything read from it are deleted. The AI does not choose or launch a group. A deterministic formation system applies logistics, reciprocal value, role balance, safety exclusions, and blocks. The system sends invitations only for compositions that clear its internal thresholds; weaker compositions remain in the pool.
weventure does not send private preparation notes, reflections, recommitment choices, support cases, reports, or blocked-member information to the matching model.
After a circle launches, weventure prepares its first-gathering plan only when all six active members have accepted the current AI-processing notice. The planning model receives only the group’s interest and purpose, meeting format, city, timezone, cadence, and the already-fixed meeting title, time, and duration. It does not receive member names, raw applications, individual profiles, individual needs or offers, private preparation notes, reflections, recommitment choices, support cases, reports, or blocks. It suggests activity copy, not a confirmed venue. weventure derives a generic live-map search query separately, and the host reviews a real map result or adds a secure video link before sending the meeting details to the group.
Who sees what
- Only people in your current weventure circle can see your chosen profile photo, approved name, introduction, volunteered strengths, group role, group schedule, and commitments you choose to share. Profile photos are served through authenticated, circle-membership-checked requests and are not public or browseable.
- Other members do not see your private application needs, preparation, individual RSVP answer, reflections, recommitment choice, support cases, reports, or blocks. Group operations may show an aggregate confirmation count when a meeting is at risk.
- Authorized weventure personnel can access application and operational information when needed to resolve exceptional safety or support cases and improve the service. Sensitive actions are audited.
Why we use information
We use it to authenticate members, form and operate groups, schedule recurring meetings, send requested notifications, measure trust and recurrence, recommend human interventions, prevent incompatible or unsafe rematching, provide support, and comply with law.
Service providers
Railway hosts weventure’s application and database infrastructure. OpenAI processes consented application content for structured matching interpretation and, only after every active member of your circle accepts the current notice, the group-safe planning facts described above. Apple provides authentication and push-notification infrastructure. When a host reviews an in-person plan, Apple Maps local search receives the generic meeting query and group city so it can return current place results; weventure does not send the host’s current location or anyone’s private application text in that search. Email and monitoring providers may be added when enabled and will be reflected in this policy and App Store privacy disclosures.
Retention and deletion
We keep information while your account or a legitimate group, safety, fraud-prevention, or legal need remains active. You can request deletion inside the app. weventure revokes sessions, removes personal identifiers and private content, and anonymizes shared group history where deleting it would make other members’ records inaccurate. If an unresolved report, inbound block, or account suspension must remain enforceable after deletion, weventure keeps only a keyed, non-readable marker derived from the Sign in with Apple identifier. That marker cannot recover the identifier, name, email, profile, or content and is released when the safety restriction ends. Ordinary account deletion leaves no such marker. Backup copies expire through the infrastructure retention cycle.
Your calendar and home screen
If you ask weventure to add your gatherings to your calendar, iOS grants weventure write-only access. weventure can create those events but cannot read any of your existing calendar entries, and no calendar information is sent to weventure’s servers. weventure’s home-screen and lock-screen widgets read a small local summary of your own next gathering and pool progress from your device; that summary never contains another member’s name or private content and is never transmitted.
Your choices
You can add, replace, or remove your profile photo in the app; ask support to unsubscribe from founding-cohort email or request access or correction; decline AI processing and not submit an application or participate in AI-assisted first-gathering planning; control shared commitments; disable notifications in iOS; remove the widget; revoke calendar access in Settings; block future matching; leave a group; and delete your account in the app.
Adults only
weventure’s initial service is for people age 18 and older. We do not knowingly form groups for minors.
